Sakara Discount Code + Review |Sakara Meal Delivery review | Sakara Discount Code | BBQ Burger

If you’re a modern woman with a family, full-time job, side hustle, friends, hobbies and anything else that takes up your precious time and often makes it hard to slow down, you know the importance and value of taking care of yourself, but maybe you don’t always do it. I know this scenario all too well because it happens to the best of us and that’s why one of my favorite healthy eating hacks happens to be the Sakara Life Meal Delivery. This is my full Sakara Life review. Read to the end for a special Sakara discount code.

EXCLUSIVE SAKARA DISCOUNT CODE: USE CODE XOMARISSAV FOR 20% OFF YOUR FIRST ORDER!

As a Health Coach and someone who prioritizes healthy eating, I know all the time-savers out there and put them into practice the majority of the time, but the truth is that sometimes I want someone else to do all the heavy lifting – and chopping – for me.

Sakara Discount Code + Review: My Experience with the 5-Day Organic Meal Program

Sakara Discount Code + Review |Meal Delivery Review | Sakara Discount Code | Superseed Muesli

Such was the case last month when Sakara sent me their 5-Day Organic Meal Delivery. It was a week when I was getting ready for the Holidays, teaching a TON and had a zillion appointments and errands to run. If I was honest with myself, meal prep was not happening and knowing that the Holidays were upon me and how I like to strive for balance, I wanted to stay on track with my healthy eating habits so I could indulge a little on Christmas and New Year’s and still start 2019 feeling vibrant, rested and whole.

The first three days of the Sakara Life Meal Delivery program arrived on Sunday night, the day before my week started and I was giddy as I unpacked all the beautiful, colorful and sustainably packaged ready-to-eat meals to orgranize in my fridge.

In addition to my first three days of meals, I also received a care package of daily wellness essentials that included:

  • Beauty Water Concentrate, silica, rose and 72 trace minerals for hydration, remineralization and a healthy glow
  • Detox Water Concentrate, chlorophyll, magnesium and 72 trace minerals for hydration, remineralization and – you guessed it – detoxifcation
  • A Sakara Life Energy Bar
  • Sakara Life Detox Tea Sachets, red roobois, lemongrass and rose for debloating and better digestion
  • A stick of Palo Santo to cleanse my energy before starting

Mid-week, the second delivery arrived. Everything was fresh and packed on ice and Sakara notes which meals will taste best lightly heated and provides instructions for doing so right on the packaging.

Is Sakara Life a Diet?

Sakara Meal Delivery Review | Chia Pumpkin Bread

A few people I’ve spoken to about Sakara Life are under the impression that it’s a diet so I want to set the record straight that it’s absolutely not a diet, but a way of life. First and foremost, Sakara Life counts nutrients, not calories. So you won’t feel deprived of food because the meals are centered around leafy greens, sulfur-rich vegetables, healthy fats and superfoods. All the meals are very filling and I often find I don’t need a snack at all during the day because I felt satiated from the food.

That said, if you don’t normally eat a plant-based diet, it will be a new way of eating for you to experience, but let’s be clear that this is in no way a diet. Rather, it’s a sustainable way of eating and once your tastebuds grow to love the nutrient-dense, veggie-packed food you’ll find it easy to maintain on weeks when you’re not getting meal deliveries.

Some people do Sakara Life Meal Delivery week after week while others like to pick and choose which weeks they’ll get their meal delivery based on when they’re busiest or if they need a reset after a vacation or week of work travel.

What I Love About Sakara Meal Delivery

Sakara Meal Delivery Review | Breezy Berry Scone

First and foremost, I love that Sakara is truly about balance. I’ve heard their founders speak first-hand about practicing the 80/20 rule which is completely aligned with how I live my life. Although their meals are plant-based and gluten-free they aren’t dogmatic about it and they believe in indulgence and a life that makes room for french fries.

I love that the breakfasts often feel a little indulgent but contain lots of superfoods, no refined sugar and are don’t spike my bloos sugar like a traditional breakfast pasrty would.

On top of feeling satisfied from the meals, I love that I felt ligher, less bloated, my skin glowed and I slept more soundly. If you have weight to lose, expect to drop a few pounds but you’ll also strengthen your immune system and increase your energy.

I love that you can tailor the the meal delivery to your unique lifestyle. You can choose how many days per week, how many meals per day, you can choose a subscription program or a one-time delivery. It’s completely up to you!

Other Sakara Programs

In addition to the Sakara 5-Day Meal Delivery Program, Sakara also offers a 3-Day program and a 10-day Reset, which puts the cooking into your hands.

One of the biggest challenges I have as a Mom is keeping myself fed and fueled with healthy food so when I (virtually) met Zoe, the founder of @fireoxfoods and a new mom herself, I was delighted to learn about the new line of frozen plant-based meals she created.

The 5 veggie-centric varieties are each inspired by global flavors and the ingredients are so clean I feel good sharing these meals with my daughter.

🥥 Massaman Coconut Curry

🍄 Mushroom Oat Risotto

🍅 Provencal Ratatouille

🌶 Chipotle Red Bean Pozole

Everything is vegan, gluten-free and SO TASTY! Try them out for yourself for 15% off with the code EATVEGGIES at www.fireoxfoods.com💚💋🍲
As a new mom, I quickly discovered that there's a As a new mom, I quickly discovered that there's a lot of focus on "bouncing back" into exercise, work and intimacy and many of the moms who had babies at the same time as me seemed to be doing it a lot faster than I was. Because nobody ever told me it could take up to a year (or longer) to feel like myself again, I often wondered what was wrong with me.

On my blog (link in profile or MarissaVicario.com/blog), I published an honest account of what my first year postpartum was actually like as I learned to navigate a new body with a new purpose, a baby that refused to sleep and of course, a pandemic.

What I'm about to say I wish someone had told me 15 months ago: It’s ok to take as much time as YOU need to recover and even though you're a mom now, you WILL feel like yourself again! 💚💋👩‍👧📸: @graceandfirephotography

I'M BACK ... and more thankful than ever for my he I'M BACK ... and more thankful than ever for my health! If you were following my stories earlier this week, you saw that I took some time off because of a corneal abrasion. It's now 90% healed.

Valentina poked me in the eye on Saturday morning and by that night I couldn't open my eye. And because I couldn't open the injured eye, I couldn't open the other eye.

It was both scary and frustrating. With both eyes closed, all I could do was sleep. So with the help of my husband who took on sole responsibility for Valentina, I slept all day Sunday and half the day Monday until I could get in to see my eye doctor.

I joked to one of my friends that I finally got the mommy break I needed - just not the one I wanted! I also caught up on all my missed sleep for the year!

But in all seriousness, with everything going on in the news I knew I needed the social media/tech break, I just wasn't taking it. I'm a firm believer that the Universe does for us that which we can't do for ourselves. This has always been true for me that when I most need a break, I'm forced to take one through Illness or injury.

With Valentina being sick the first week of the year followed by my social media and technology hiatus, I fell even more behind than I already was. But in the grand scheme of things, none of that matters.

I'm so thankful for my family’s health and even though I was injured, I actually feel refreshed. Next time I need a break, I'm giving myself permission to take one - and I hope you will too! 💚💋👀

Now let me tell you about this outfit. I know, I know it looks like basic black sweats but they’re better than basic - I’ve been living in these @monrow_official joggers (the softest ever) and this elevated cropped sweatshirt by @alala both courtesy of @renttherunway.
