Back to School with Adidas

09/06/23

Whether you’re actually going back to school or not, the best thing about back to school is a new Fall wardrobe. Am I right? That’s why I’m going back to school with adidas this year.

Adidas has everything I need to go back to school in comfort and style while giving my Fall wardrobe a refresh. As always, I chose stylish basics that I can mix and match with other seasonal pieces.

My favorites this season are the new collabs and also the selection of on-trend Gazelles.

Back to School for Fall Favorites

These are the pieces I chose:

Adicolor Classics 3-Stripes Leggings

adidas x FARM Rio Pants

adidas x Stella McCartney Padded Winter Gilet

Women’s Gazelle Shoes

Women’s Duramo SL Walking Shoes

City Escape Loose Track Jacket

Fall Soccer Mom

When my daughter starts soccer again this Fall, standing outside calls for comfy, cozy layers. I’m obsessed with this Stella McCartney padded gilet.

Not only is the color striking, it’s super warm and big enough to allow for layers. It even zips up both sides to allow for ventilation.

I paired it with the Adicolor 3-Stripes Leggings. The stripes down the side are both figure-flattering and the cutest twist on basic black leggings.

To finish the look, I added the Duramo SL Running Shoes. This shoe is not only striking it’s comfortable to wear walking to and from soccer practice and then around the city all day.

From Gym to Street

I often go straight from the gym to school drop-off or vice versa.

The Adicolor 3-Stripes Leggings fit the bill for both. They’re comfortable and flattering enough to wear as an outfit but also functional enough to wear during a strength training workout in the gym.

I can throw on a jacket over my gym clothes and lace up my Gazelle’s for an instant outfit.

I also love the Duramo SL Running Shoes for this purpose. They’re chic enough to wear casually but also supportive enough to wear for a run or in the gym.

What pieces you’re coveting for back to school with adidas this Fall?

Three Summers ago my family and I came to Chicago Three Summers ago my family and I came to Chicago and there wasn't so much as a matcha cafe in sight. Now, so much matcha, so little time. Swipe through for my thoughts in each caption. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿต

The cafe itself had the cutest decor. The matcha had no flavor and all I could taste was the almond milk.

Refreshing and not too sweet. The blueberry lemonade was the overarching flavor followed by the more bitter matcha. Perfect balance.

Just a strawberry matcha. Nothing special and not the best I've had.

This was an authentic Japanese spot with a premium matcha experience. They hand whisk it in front of you and explain how they make it. I picked up a few tips. The matcha was authentic and rich. Only oat and whole milk options.

Hand whisking and explaining the process in detail.

Not a huge fan on oat milk in matcha because I think it overpowers the flavor. Overall, this was the most authentic like you'd get in Japan.

Tbh, this was a basic coffee shop matcha but I loved the coffee shop itself. I made the mistake of agreeing that the syrup which was a sweetener. I don't like sweetened matcha so that knocked a star off.

The most underwhelming of all. Drinkable but basic. Not bad, but I had too many other really good ones to measure against.

This place has it all. The vibe, tbe energy, the neighborhood, the creative drinks, the community and a nice staff.

This was the most delicious matcha I would give this place 1000 stars if I could.

The place was bustling but they kept it moving and the staff was friendly despite the crowds and heavy drink orders.

An authentic matcha experience with a modern edge. Seriously the best matcha and experience I've had at a matcha cafe.
