I celebrated my birthday this weekend and am feeling so blessed right now from all the thoughtful birthday wishes! My only request for my birthday was to spend some time outside of the city so David took me upstate for apple and pumpkin picking.
I think I can speak for most people when I say that the clean air and being around fresh fruit and veggies growing in their natural environment can be well, exciting. Not to mention that when you pick apples, you’re committed to a large bag. If you’re not sharing them with another family then, that’s just a lot of apples.
If you’re wondering what in the world to do with all those apples, then check out a few of my eHow vidoes on vegan cooking with apples.
If you’re not up for cooking or have had enough of those apples for the time being, here’s how to freeze them to ensure the freshest batch once you’re ready to use them.
