Savoring Summer with the Pop Sugar Must Have Box

08/11/16

August is always a weird month for me. One one hand, I know we still have several more weeks of summer to look forward to, but on the other, I’m painfully aware with every Facebook friend posting back-t0-school pictures of their kids, that Fall is creeping up. In August, I also stop buying summer clothes and start to look ahead to Fall trends.

So, when POPSUGAR sent me the Pop Sugar Must-Have Box to try it was the perfect reminder that I still have plenty of time left to savor summer and being in the moment is something I’ve been practicing more.

My two favorites from the box were definitely the items reminiscent of backyard BBQs and summer pool parties:

House of Pom Emoji Cocktail Napkinis instantly make any summer soiree instagrammable.

SunnyLife Inflatable Swan Drink Holder a take on this year’s favorite pool rafts, the swan keeps your cool beverage within arms reach.

What else is in the Pop Sugar Must Have Box?

Sachajuan Hair in the Sun. Protects your locks from UV rays and won’t wash off until it’s shampooed out.

Michael Stars Porcelain Skinny Scarf. The perfect accessory to dress up a plain white t-shirt. It’s lightweight and can be tied, knotted, draped or wrapped.

Pintrill Pineapple Pin. Nothing says summer like pineapples. Use it to in your scarf in place or accessorize a blouse, t-shirt or jacket.

European Wax Center Oh My Brow! Brow Highlighter. Every makeup bag needs one. It’s lightweight and versatile to create an instant glow without requiring lots of heavy products.

Joe Chips.

Trove Gift Card. $20 to spend on Trove’s customizable jewelry.

Never had your own must-have box?  PopSugar is offering my readers $5 their first Pop Sugar Must Have Box Pwith code SHOP5.

Everyone knows that feeling of not being able to fit everything in a suitcase. We didn't have to buy an extra one. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿงณ

One thing I noticed is that alternative milk options were typically limited to soy or oat milk so most of the matcha I had was with oat milk. All of it was iced because summer. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿต
