This weekend was more of the same as last weekend with home improvement projects, stocking the fridge and tying up some loose ends for my Green Your Diet 7-Day Challenge. I’m really loving some of the down time I’ve had the past two weekends to re-charge and get grounded. As an introvert, I find I need this regularly and it’s important to honor that for myself.
On Saturday, I took some time for self-care which included a barre class at Chelsea Piers, a face mask and a haircut at a new salon called Hairroin Salon. I’m happy to report that after years of searching, I finally found a hair stylist I like!
On Sunday, I took some time to check out the Spiritual Book Club at Namaste Book Shop. The book was Loving What Is by Byron Katie. I had read the book about 9 years ago per the recommendation of a friend. I wanted a refresher on the book and also to check out the group since they’ll be reading my book in January. If you’re up for some spiritual reading and discussion, I highly recommend the book club.
