Evive Smoothie Review + promo code

Eat the rainbow – I’ve always both practiced and preached this simple approach to eating. Flooding my body with nutrients from a variety of fruit, veggies and superfoods is the #1 way I feel like my most vivacious self. Of course, the best way to do this is to eat whole foods, but another way to get more nutrients than you could possibly get from one meal is by drinking smoothies. I recently had the chance to try Evive which packs a giant nutritional punch. Below is my Evive smoothie review + a promo code.

Why I Love Smoothies

People often ask, smoothies or juices and my response is always smoothies. Why? Smoothies are easy to digest and a convenient way to pack lots of fruit, veggies, superfoods and even protein into a meal or snack. But also, smoothies contain all the fiber from their ingredients (just broken down so it’s easy to digest), which makes them more nutritious but also more filling.

Why I Love Evive

This wouldn’t be an Evive smoothie review (see above and below for my promo code) without an explanation about why I like these smoothies so much!

One // They’re perfectly portioned. Use half a pack for a snack and a whole pack (8 cubes) pack for a full portion.

Two // They’re Blender-free. That’s right! No blender necessary. Simply mix with your choice or liquid, let it thaw a little, shake and enjoy!

Three // They pack a major nutritional punch. Looking at the ingredient label all you’ll see is real food – fruit, veggies, superfoods and plant-based protein – and many of the ingredients are organic. Some of the ingredients you’ll see, include:

  • Chia
  • Cauliflower
  • Blue Spirulina
  • Sea Buckthorn Berry
  • Turmeric
  • Baobab
  • Pumpkin Seeds

Four // They’re functional. Whether you’re looking to energize or replenish, you can choose from 13 colorful smoothies with names like Samurai (a vibrant magenta) for brain support, Pure (a brilliant green) for detoxifying and Touk-Touk (a bold yellow) for glowing skin. A few of their smoothies even have up to 18 grams of protein!

How Evive Smoothies Work

Evive smoothies are frozen. When you’re ready for one, choose whether you want a drinkable smoothie or a smoothie bowl. For a smoothie, put the cubes in a bottle, cover with your liquid of choice (Evive offers recommendations for each blend), petit thaw a little, shake and enjoy!

Head to this post on Instagram to see a video of how it works.

For a smoothie bowl, blend the cubes with half a frozen banana and some oat milk, add your toppings and eat!

I was in the West Village for an event and hadn't had my matcha fix yet. I passed Aoko and made a mental note.

Then I proceeded to pass many more matcha cafes with long lines.

Aoko didn't have a line and it seemed authentic to me. Also, I recalled hearing good things.

The vibe was a little sterile. You order off a screen and there's a huge selection of matcha drinks and ice cream. Then wait for your number to be called.

I chose the Coconut Matcha Cloud. There was no description on the screen and the actual drink looked nothing like the photo.

It was a cloud of whipped matcha floating on top of coconut water with tapioca-like shapes on the bottom.

My expectations were low. But I ended up being pleasantly surprised. Once the whipped matcha mixed with the coconut water, it was incredibly creamy and I could tell the matcha was high quality. 8.5/10. I'll be back to try the regular matcha latte. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿต

This is a new-to-me boutique jewelry brand. The pieces are stunning, hold meaningful affirmations and are just incredibly wearable.

I even got to meet the Founder @jennlow.wco who explained the meaning and inspiration behind the pieces.

There were so many beautiful pieces to layer and try on. I chose the Heart Locket Necklace to take home.

Inside it says "follow your heart" and it can be worn open or closed though I like it opened best.

I was also eyeing the You are Magic Medallion Locket.

So I bought that too!

Such a fun morning in the West Village! I can't wait to wear my new jewelry! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’‹๐ŸชŽ #wcocommunity
There is so much beauty and nature in and around N There is so much beauty and nature in and around NYC and so much to see and do. We've been taking advantage of the perfect weather and venturing beyond our neighborhood with Valentina to show her all this incredible city has to offer. Last weekend was @metcloisters and @forttryonpark , which brought me back to 2007 in the city when I would circumnavigate Manhattan on my bike starting at the East River down to the The Battery and up the Hudson River to The Cloisters and Fort Tryon Park then back down the East River through Harlem- a 30 mile round trip. We enjoyed a long walk and explored the stunning gardens inside the park before perusing the museum. The perfect way to spend a holiday Monday. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿฐ
