I’m writing this week’s notes feeling both exhausted and elated. Before my health coaching career, I worked in marketing and PR for the tech industry and regularly attended trade shows. They are equally draining as they are exciting. Back to back days and hours upon hours spent on your feet, yet action-packed with opportunities to make solid connections. That’s exactly what I experienced this weekend at the Gluten-Free and Allergen-Friendly Expo in Secaucus, NJ.
I was one of three authors who attended the event, one of the biggest in the country for the gluten-free community. While my book is for everyone whether they’re gluten-free or not, I was drawn to this event because it was local and offered special tables for authors.
The exhibitors and attendees were open and friendly and I had a chance to speak one-on-one with everyone who visited my table. I also signed a lot of books!
Being an author and a business owner is a daily hustle but one I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world.
How was your weekend? How did you take advantage of the beautiful fall weather?
Some of you have asked and the answer is yes, my book is still – and will always be – available. You can find out more and see where to buy it here.
