As you probably know by now, I’m running the TCS NYC Marathon on Sunday.
You can track my progress using the TCS NYC Marathon App and search by name [Marissa Vicario] or bib number [35644]
After four months and more than 300 training miles, the big day is almost here!
But before I run the marathon, I’ll run the Timex #OneRelay…
I’m one of 100 runners chosen to run a portion of the 800 mile relay, the distance between two of the most iconic marathons in the world – Chicago and New York City.
On Thursday, I’ll be running five miles in this relay and Timex will donate $100 per mile to the charity of my choice, The Alzheimer’s Association.
You can show your support by sending the runners a message here. Your message will show up on the GPS tracking devise as we run.

In the spirit of the marathon, I candidly spoke to Finish Line Sports about what this marathon means to me and why I’m running.
[Tweet “This marathon is a symbol of the strength and camaraderie of the city and the people that live here.” #tcsnycmarathon @MarissaVicario]
