I had one of my busiest weeks in a long time between work, clients and teaching at The Bar Method and it carried right on through to the weekend.
On Friday I taught a corporate wellness workshop at ASOS and went straight from there to teach a Bar Method class. After class, I met David for sushi and called it a night early even though the weather was beautiful and I would have loved to be on a rooftop somewhere enjoying the summer-like temps.
On Saturday, I taught a Passion + Purpose “Green Your Diet” workshop sponsored by sweetgreen. More than 50 people showed up at Lululemon’s HUBseventeen to munch on sweetgreen salads and learn how to live a healthier lifestyle. I truly love doing these events and connecting with people in person. It’s SO MUCH work to plan an event like this but so very rewarding. Saturday was chillier so we relaxed at home most of the rest of the day and I caught up on work.
Sunday started early. I made avocado toast topped with sunny side up eggs for breakfast and then taught two Bar Method classes and took one myself. David met me in SoHo after class and I was starving so we stopped by OCA, a small Brazilian cafe on Mott St. that makes gluten-free crepes out of tapioca flour, for a quick snack. On our wallk home, we stopped by Quartino for a glass of organic rose.
We returned home, made dinner and called it a night.
