Weekends to me are basically synonymous with Brunch.
We’re creatures of habit and after our respective workouts or yoga, you can usually find David and me at Le Pain Quotidien devouring smoked salmon and soft boiled eggs. This weekend, though, we decided to change it up a little and headed to the Aussie-inspired Dudley’s in the Lower East Side.
Dudley’s is the cutest cafe/bar that has a lovely menu of brunch and lunch items. We waited 30 minutes for a table and while the weather was cool, it was still pleasant to perch on a bench as we waited. David got a cappuccino from the to-go window to sip.
Once inside, I was able to satisfy my matcha latte craving.
For breakfast, I ordered the kale salad with two sunny side up eggs.
The weather in NYC this weekend was damp and grey, perfect for staying cozy at home. I’ve been seeing pumpkin recipes everywhere so I decided to put my own can of pumpkin to use in some sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free pumpkin muffins and also some pumpkin spice granola.
How was your weekend? What are your favorite pumpkin recipes for Fall?
