I think I’ve made it very clear on more than one occasion that I am pretty much obsessed with green smoothies. But I have to confess, there are those moments when, for whatever reason, I want a smoothie but the green variety just won’t do. This smoothie has become one of my favorite afternoon snacks. It’s sweet, smooth and crunchy which satisfies any afternoon craving and packs a punch of protein making it filling.
Strawberry Banana Crunch Smoothie
Blend.
1/2 – 1 frozen banana
5 frozen strawberries
1 tsp nut butter (I like Wild Jungle Peanut Butter)
1 c milk of choice (I use Almond milk)
Sprinkle.
1/4 c Udi’s Gluten Free Vanilla Granola or Purely Elizabeth Ancient Grain Granola on top
Eat.
With a spoon!
